Blessings, Love, and most of all, Light, to Aaron Leitch, and to all of you who helped him reach his goal!
This story is truly inspiring. Despite differences, the esoteric community, and specifically the Golden Dawn community, came together to raise money to help one of its own in his time of need. Aaron Leitch, occult writer and Golden Dawn magician, was literally staring down permanent blindness if he did not get surgery very soon. Unfortunately, this came at a cost that was beyond his means, and time was of the essence. A page was created to raise money for the cause.

There was a huge response all over the internet, and fraters and sorors of a vast array of Orders, independent Temples, and those who practice solitary, put aside their differences and past grudges, to come to his aid. It is truly inspiring to me to see this happen. This proves that while this community is at most times a slightly dysfunctional family, it is a family nonetheless. And a caring and loving one at that. I just want to say how proud this makes me to be a member of this community.
This is truly how spiritual beings conduct themselves. Thanks to all who helped, and many blessings to Frater Leitch and his family.
I truly believe that this will leave a lasting impression on the esoteric community, and especially the Golden Dawn community. Regardless of whether we all agree about everything, we will take care of our own. I believe what occurred here with Frater Leitch and the overwhelming support of the community will be a shining example of what spiritual people are really made of, and how our community really functions at critical times.
Hopefully it will also be a sign to outsiders and aspiring magicians that when the chips are down, we help our own. That this community truly is a family, despite disagreements. Thanks to everyone who helped, whether by donating or by spreading the word, or by simple positive thoughts. Whether you know it or not, this is a very significant event in our community's history.
